If you’re looking for more than a job, if you’re looking for a place to grow, connect, and thrive, you’ve come to the right place.
Position Overview
We are seeking a smart, fast-learning, and highly visible Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team and support the ongoing expansion of stores across Illinois. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will own core aspects of our accounting function, while playing a strategic role in shaping our financial infrastructure and helping the business scale efficiently and ethically. This is not a behind-the-scenes role, we’re looking for someone who brings gumption, confidence, and accountability to every task. You’re someone who knows when to take the lead, when to collaborate, and when to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and cannabis-specific requirements
- Oversee the general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals

- Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and industry-specific tax/reporting requirements
- Act as a key liaison with external auditors; prepare supporting documentation and reports
- Support the implementation and enhancement of ERP/accounting systems and internal controls
- Review and approve account coding, AP/AR documentation, and expense allocations
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical accounting guidance
- Recommend and execute process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk
- Proactively identify areas for financial and operational optimization across retail and corporate functions
