Role Overview
Seeking a Web Developer to maintain, enhance, and optimize its two eCommerce websites. Both platforms are built on Shopify and require expertise in JavaScript, CSS, and Shopify development. This role will involve collaborating with the marketing and content teams to implement new features, design updates, and streamline backend processes.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong grasp of front-end development, Shopify’s ecosystem, and modern web technologies. They will play a key role in improving site functionality, user experience, and overall performance while ensuring the websites align with business objectives and marketing initiatives.
Experience with graphic design would be a significant advantage, as would the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and optimize two Shopify-based eCommerce websites.
- Develop and implement new pages, features, and UI/UX enhancements in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable JavaScript and CSS code.
- Improve site speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
- Streamline backend processes and integrate third-party tools or APIs as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Stay up to date with Shopify’s latest features, trends, and best practices
- Must have 3-5 years experience in web development.
